Steve Silver Company has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative.

Steve Silver Company is a local, reputable wholesale furniture distributor and an industry leading importer of dining, home office, and outdoor furniture with extensive overseas sourcing and quality control expertise on the ground throughout Asia.  The company operates from a 500,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility in Forney, Texas and a second state-of-the art 400,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility in Mesquite, Texas.

Objectives of this role
  • Support accounts and customers with missing or damaged items.
  • Communicate with customers and sales reps with availability.
  • Strengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding claims.
  • Assist in streamlining the customer service process and work alongside our team to ensure we are always offering the best customer service.
  • Exercise integrity and commitment to ensure our customers get the best service.
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Receive inbound calls regarding parts and service issues.
  • Listen and assist with customer concerns, issues, and questions.
  • Process incoming parts orders and update customer with when they are available to ship.
  • Process credits and communicate with customers.
  • Handle Damage claims, with reviewing photos, and description and make determination of how to handle.
  • Dependable team player
Required skills and qualification
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn about items and follow processes.
  • Superb time management and detail orientation
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
  • Trainability and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to keep company and partner confidences

Preferred skills and qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • Experience in office environment,
  • Experience in customer service.
